Advertisement integration with MoPub

For those with an interest in diversifying revenue streams through with their ShoutEm app, we’re proud to announce our in-app advertising feature, which uses MoPub for advertisement integration. You can use MoPub both as a stand alone advertisement platform as well as configure it to show ads from other ad networks like AdMob, Google AdSense for Mobile Content, and others.

The following is a step by step process to guide you to configure advertisement with MoPub and ShoutEm:

1) Go to http://app.mopub.com/account/login/ to register for a MoPub account. If you already have an account, you can log in at http://app.mopub.com/account/login/

2) After the registration you will be automatically prompted to set up a new application.

The interface for MoPub has changed.  You might want to update this post to reflect those changes.

Also…it’d be much easier if we can just use jpegs, instead of having to edit code every time.

    Thanks

There are a few small differences between this guide and what MoPub offers, which we’ll update soon.

Regarding the jpegs, this can be done, but still needs to be generated through MoPub’s campaigns. We’re unable to provide our own ad-serving solution at this time, and find MoPub to be sufficient in its ability to deliver ads. You can also contact their support if you have any questions specific to their platform.

Hope that explains a bit more!
